We start our walking tour in the fashionable Collins Place, home to The Chocolate Box. They believe that everyone should enjoy life (and eating chocolate can help us achieve this). Get ready to have your eyes and palates delighted with different flavours, shapes and colours.

It is time to go to Haigh's Chocolates, where we combine tastings with an insight into the history of the family who has dedicated its last four generations from 1915 to the making of chocolate. Just a few steps and we arrive at Koko Black, a divine chocolate salon located at the historical Melville House. Here we put our taste buds to the test and have superb Belgian-style truffles.

Enough? No, there is more! At Collins Quarter, a two-storey Victorian terrace, touched by the hand of modernity and the fingers of pastry chefs, we enjoy our delicious afternoon tea... And, during the walk, there are Baptista and Chocolatier chocolates to keep our energy levels up!

Chocolate tasting summary: The Chocolate Box, Haigh's Chocolates, Koko Black and Collins Quarter (afternoon tea), plus Baptista and Chocolatier chocolates; all the places are located on Collins Street

When – Saturday, at 2pm (new time)
Duration – 1.5–2 hours approximately
Meeting time – Saturday tours: 1.50pm (for a 2pm start)

Meeting point – Outside The Chocolate Box, at Collins Place, 45 Collins Street (corner of Exhibition and Collins Streets), Melbourne (see map). Enter Collins Place via Collins Street, turn right and go downstairs. View location on Google Maps (in doubt? call 03 9686 4655 or, on the day, 0412 158 017). Tour size – maximum number is 26 participants (individuals and groups are welcome; note that you don't need to have a group to join us). Due to some tour stops, the chocolate walking tours are not wheelchair or pram friendly

Cost – $35 (all-inclusive; adults or children – adults with children from 6 years of age must pay for the kids)

Payment – After availability of places is confirmed, payment (prior to the tour) can be made by MasterCard or Visa by telephone (03 9686 4655 or 0412 158 017) or online; alternatively, send a cheque or money order to 145/28 Southgate Avenue, Southbank, VIC, 3006 (attach a note with your name, tour date and tour name)

Recipients of gift vouchers should quote their voucher number when booking a tour (note: we cannot accept expired vouchers)

Extra gift – If you are joining us to celebrate an important occasion or want to add a special touch to your tour, request a gift pack with your booking! There are 3 options available (items cannot be sold separately) for an additional cost, and the pack is given to the recipient(s) on the day of their tour:

option A – a box with 8 chocolates from one of Melbourne's top chocolatiers and a specially made badge with the words "I'm a chocoholic" – $20 each
option B – 2 bag tags (with images of chocolate bars) and a specially made badge with the words "I'm a chocoholic" – $20 each
option C – a box with 8 chocolates from one of Melbourne's top chocolatiers, a badge with the words "I'm a chocoholic" and 2 bag tags (with images of chocolate bars) – $35 each

Cancellation policy

If you cancel your booking up to five (5) business days before the booked walk, you can book another tour (subject to availability) or request a refund.
If you cancel your booking less than five (5) business days before the booked walk, you can transfer it to another person (a friend or relative, for example), but you are committed to the original booked date and tour. No refund is given.
